Dr Fine is a comprehensive eye physician and surgeon who has been in private practice since 2003. He graduated with a neurobiology degree from McGill in 1991. The then spent 2 years travelling and working abroad before returning to his hometown of Vancouver. Dr Fine graduated from UBC medical school in 1998 and completed his residency in ophthalmology at UBC in 2003. He performs surgery at Lions Gate Hospital, Delta hospital and Fort St John Hospital. He also provides outreach services as a consulting ophthalmologist to Dawson Creek, Williams Lake, Queen Charlotte City and Massett. Dr Fine has an interest in international work which led him to obtain a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins, and to work in numerous countries including China, Tanzania, Peru and Nepal. His practice concentrates on cataract surgery and general ophthalmology.
