Your appointment:

Now that you are scheduled for your consultation with one of our Specialists there are a few things to remember before arriving. We kindly ask you to bring the following with you on the day of your appointment:

• Eye glasses you wear for distance, intermediate and reading vision
• List of all medication and supplements you are currently taking
• Your BC Carecard

Pupil dilation:

When coming to see one of our specialists for your consultation or diagnostic testing you will most likely need to have your pupils dilated with eye drops. Dilation allows a wider view of the inside of your eyes. The effect of these drops will be light sensitivity and can cause blurred vision making driving and or reading difficult. We strongly suggest you bring sunglasses to your appointment and make travel arrangements as driving may be difficult immediately after your appointment. If you are unsure if you will require dilation for your appointment please call our office to speak with one of our receptionists.
